V3.0 IO Output Adapter Board Modes and Configuration

The V3.0 IO Output Adapter Board is a versatile accessory designed to provide flexible output configurations for CNC controllers. It offers 4 selectable modes, configured using jumper caps, with the ground (GND) shared between the adapter board and the controller’s main power supply.

Modes Overview

The adapter board supports the following 4 modes:

1. PWM Mode
   • Outputs a 5V PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal.
   • Used for scenarios requiring precise duty cycle control.
2. 0-10V Output (24V Input)
   • When the VCC port on the board is connected to 24V, the output is a 0-10V signal.
   • Ideal for applications requiring a higher voltage control range.
3. 0-5V Output (12V Input)
   • When the VCC port on the board is connected to 12V, the output is a 0-5V signal.
   • Suitable for low-voltage control environments.
4. 0-10V Output (12V Input)
   • When the VCC port on the board is connected to 12V, the output is a 0-10V signal.
   • Default Configuration: This mode is preset at the time of sale, and the onboard potentiometer is calibrated for this mode.

Default Configuration

• Mode 4 (0-10V Output with 12V Input) is the default setting.
• The onboard potentiometer is pre-calibrated for this mode.

Recalibration After Mode Change

If the mode is changed and the output voltage deviates from expected values:

1. Use the onboard potentiometer to perform fine-tuning adjustments.
2. Ensure precise calibration by measuring output voltages with a multimeter.

How to Change Modes

• Locate the jumper pins on the board.
• Use a jumper cap to short-circuit the pins corresponding to the desired mode.
• Refer to the provided diagram for proper jumper placement.
